  "externalDescription": " Position Summary The Institute for Juvenile Research (IJR) in the Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Research Associate II - Social Sciences (RA II) to support several research studies. The RA II will work on various projects under the direction of multiple principal investigators within IJR. IJR's mission is to develop and promote effective policy and practices to prevent mental health difficulties and relieve the mental health burden of children and families living in high poverty urban communities through research, teaching, and direct service. Duties Responsibilities Perform surveys, interviews, observations or use other methods according to established research protocols. Collect, process, and analyze data. Summarize research and test results. May assist with study protocol development. Coordinate the ordering, inventory and maintenance of equipment, instruments and data collection and analysis tools. Prepare and contribute statistical data and pertinent information for papers, grants and other documents. Complete required documentation for regulatory agencies.
