This role is responsible for safely operating a variety of machines, with a focus on stamping presses and hobbing as well as other equipment used in our production process.</p><p><strong>Essential functions:</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li data-pasted=\"true\">Accountable for daily production and quality control parts manufactured on the hobbing, forming or lockbar stamping press and simple die changes.</li><li>Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Perform quality checks on hobbed parts and make necessary adjustments.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.</li><li>Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.</li><li>Able to maintain required efficiency rates.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Able to set up forming and lock&nbsp; bar stamping tools.&nbsp;</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">General housekeeping of work area.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Observe all safety requirements.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Employee must show up to work on time and be able to work overtime as needed.</li><li>Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\">Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
