The coach-mentor works with FLIPANY's Public Health Department to implement physical activity programs for youth in various communities.  <span>The ideal Soccer Coach/Mentor is excited about encouraging and supporting healthy lifestyles for youth and families while demonstrating strong and positive class management of groups of youth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Assignments and Compensation:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typical class hours are Monday–Friday afternoons between 2 and 6, with some day classes at certain sites.</li>\n<li>Weekend assignments for special events may also be available. <br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">FLIPANY provides curriculum content and class material.</span></li>\n<li>Contractors are compensated $30.00 per hour for each 1-hour class delivered.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>English Required</li>\n<li>Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years' experience working with children.</li>\n<li>Education or experience in Child Development/Behavior, Psychology, or other Social Sciences.</li>\n<li><span>Ability to deliver classes to a group of 15-20 participants</span></li>\n<li>Experience teaching athletics to youth preferred</li>\n<li> Expertise with Microsoft Office 365 / Teams platform.</li>\n<li>At least a basic knowledge of soccer fundamentals</li>\n<li>General understanding of physical activity standards for youth</li>\n<li>Excellent ‘classroom management’ and ability to work with behavioral issues among youth populations.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">FLIPANY is a Drug Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity Employer<br><br>This job opportunity requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. <a href=\"http://info.flclearinghouse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http://info.flclearinghouse.com</a><br></span></p>",
