This position reports to the Director of Distribution.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Co-manage the overall operations of each respective department including, but not limited to: Metro and satellite shipping, picking, customer pick up support, Inter region transfer, load planning</li>\n <li>Assist in maximizing the cost effectiveness of operations including budgeted operating costs, labour costs, equipment and resource utilization and service expectations</li>\n <li>Ensure exceptional visual detail and space utilization within the department areas and dock space</li>\n <li>Adhere to, actively promote, and monitor all company policies and procedures pertaining to: Core Values, Health and Safety, Operating Standards, Personal Appearance, and Security</li>\n <li>Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to be used in the completion reports, analysis, and maintaining the overall integrity of the inventory control system</li>\n <li>Achieve financial and operational objectives as set out by the company and maintain adequate resources to achieve the business objectives</li>\n <li>Maintain a proficient knowledge of Shipping/Returns processes and procedures </li>\n <li>Verify and report on inventory </li>\n <li>Process store entry stock transfers</li>\n <li>Maintain a thorough knowledge of all stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturers specification and handling instructions </li>\n <li>Picking of all product types, put-a-way of all product types</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy in the generation of reports</li>\n <li>Lifting and moving of product</li>\n <li>Operation of equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>3 to 5 years experience in a diverse warehouse environment, preferably Retail</li>\n <li>Computerized inventory control systems (WMS) experience an asset</li>\n <li>Exceptional leadership, coaching, problem solving and time management skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage in a fast paced environment within tight deadlines</li>\n <li>Must have applied knowledge in the safe material handling of product including power lift equipment</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why The Brick?</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A flexible and comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental and Paramedical Services for you and your family</li>\n <li>Competitive remuneration package that will commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>Career progression potential with plenty of access to ongoing personal and professional development</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li>A dynamic environment to showcase your leadership talents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Apply now</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>The Brick is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and will accommodate people with disabilities throughout the recruitment, application, and selection process.
