It is an accompanied position (eligible for dependents).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>What You Will Do:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of the radar mechanical systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs implementation of new integration projects for both. improvement and modernization (I&amp;M) and operational and maintenance (O&amp;M).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain maintenance schedules, spare parts, and equipment inventory.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs management of preventive maintenance projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>Qualifications You Must Have:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Eight (8) or more years of Mechanical Engineering experience or equivalent field experience.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to perform effective hardware design, structural analysis, and organize integration projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiar with standard mechanical functions of equipment including, but not limited to, pumps, motors, and structural components.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Safety-conscious.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to read schematic diagrams.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and direct craftsmen and technicians.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent written and communications skills to include technical writing.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Willingness and physical ability to work at moderate heights up to 50ft.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Climber II Certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire (local training and testing provided).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Willingness and physical ability to assist engineering technicians with manual labor tasks consistent with the maintenance and upgrades of mechanical antenna systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 45 lbs. independently.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to perform (I&amp;M) and (O&amp;M) projects involving mechanical systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to work with other groups (Hardware, Digital, Transmitter, Receiver, Electrical, etc.) with their projects by providing mechanical design and support.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to work effectively with movable mechanical systems, gear boxes, electrical servo systems, hydraulic systems, brake systems and/or electric motors.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to aid in the development and improvement of routine preventive maintenance procedures.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
