Shift Leads run the shift, providing direction and assistance, handling customer issues, and supervising all operations of the shop during the shift.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Daily Tasks and Projects:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Hold shift huddles before the shift begins</span></li>\n<li><span>Supervise all staff during the shift, providing resources and assistance, as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with implementing and enforcing shop procedures</span></li>\n<li><span>Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints</span></li>\n<li><span>Count cash in and out and handle cash drops</span></li>\n<li><span>Relay important information to the Shop Manager, as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Count inventory as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain the organization of the shop inventory and assist with placing orders</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Job Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Minimum 18 years of age</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week, including weekend availability, with reliable transportation</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to attend every monthly staff meeting</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to comply to punctuality and performance standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong leadership capability</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent customer service and self-awareness</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Required Education, Certification, or Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Food Manager certification (completed within 30 days of hire or promotion)</span></li>\n<li><span>Previous barista experience</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Compensation and Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>$13.50-$19.50/hour including tips, based on experience</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Opportunity to participate in company benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.) if 30 hr average over a 6-month period</span></li>\n<li><span>Bonuses and raises are available, based on meeting performance goals</span></li>\n</ul>",
