Position Details We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Job Type: Part-Time Location: Newark, NJ Travel Requirement: 100% Responsibilities Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care Assessing and treating patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations Order and interpret diagnostic tests Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans Prescribe medication and administer treatments Provide counseling to residents and their families Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress Make appropriate adjustments to care plans Commitment to person-centered care Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents in the nursing home Requirements: 6 months experience in long-term care DEA License Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing Completed degree from an accredited program A year of experience in Gastroenterology Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC etc.) Benefits: Paid Time Off Malpractice Insurance Salary per annum: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year EEO/AAP Statement : Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
