Our vision: A FAMILY business with passionate employees who are united by shared values and guided by a desire to make ANCON the US Market Leader in Tank and Turn Around services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s the job all about?</strong></p><p>The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial records, preparing reports, audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities include:</p><p>· Daily bank reconciliations</p><p>· Data entry for records integrity</p><p>· Daily and Weekly Financial Reports</p><p>· Month-end journal entries</p><p>· Month-end reporting</p><p>· Quarterly sales and use tax return</p><p>· Yearly personal property taxes</p><p>· Agency audits</p><p>· Ad Hoc Financial Reports</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications we are looking for:</strong></p><p>· Comfortable using accounting software, Excel and other industry-specific programs</p><p>· Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience</p><p>· Understanding Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)</p><p>· Clear understanding of Debits and Credits</p><p>· Proven ability to act as a role model for the organization reflecting professionalism, positivity, and team orientation</p><p>· Proven Service-minded approach to delivering Accounting services</p><p>· Must pass the pre-employment screening required of this position</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What we can offer you!</strong></p><p>· Work-from-home/in-office hybrid schedule</p><p>· Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits after 30 days of full-time employment; FSA and HSA options as well</p><p>· Sick Time and Holiday Pay after 3 months of full-time employment</p><p>· Vacation pay (accrued) after 6 months of full-time employment</p><p>· Weekly pay schedule</p><p>· Group 401K with company match</p><p>· Opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic mid-sized family business</p><p>· Opportunity to assume increasingly greater responsibility and autonomy as you learn and succeed</p><p>· Family and Friendly oriented workplace making it possible for employees to</p><p><br></p><p><strong>COME AND JUMP START YOUR CAREER WITH ANCON!</strong></p>",
