    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>The Work:</u></strong></p>\n<p>The Occupational Health Nurse will be providing services offered under the client’s medical office services, such as assessing patients’ health conditions, monitoring vital signs, providing patient care-based treatment plans, Workers Compensation follow-ups, screenings, and administering immunizations.</p>\n<p>This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Observe and evaluate a patient’s physical status by taking vital signs, reviewing medical history and conducting a thorough assessment.</li>\n <li>Administering medications accurately and safely according to physicians’ orders.</li>\n <li>Provide clear instructions and information to patients about their conditions, medications, and self-care practices.</li>\n <li>Maintain clear communication with patients.</li>\n <li>Working effectively with other healthcare professionals like doctors, therapists, and nursing assistants to coordinate patient care. </li>\n <li>Work with web-based computer systems, Medgate Occupational Health and Safety software, and Microsoft Office Suite software.</li>\n <li>Responding promptly to patient emergencies and providing necessary interventions. </li>\n <li>Maintaining detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and progress updates.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications – Here’s What You Need:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program.</li>\n <li>Be licensed to practice in Fort Worth, Texas</li>\n <li>Be certified as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (CAOHC) Hearing Technician</li>\n <li>Be certified to administer CPR and use an AE</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a Tier one background.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Skills:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written</li>\n <li>Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.</li>\n <li>Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.</li>\n <li>Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.</li>\n <li>Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports to: Program Manager</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional hospital work setting.</li>\n <li>This is an on-call, part-time position.</li>\n <li>Ability to work Monday-Friday, 24 hours, 3 Shifts.</li>\n <li>Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.</li>\n <li>Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.</li>\n <li>May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.</li>\n <li>May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.</li>\n <li>May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties: </strong><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
