Description

About the Role: The Director of Nursing is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire nursing department within a healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution. Experience working in a similar healthcare setting or specialty area relevant to the facility. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics. Experience in budget management and strategic planning. Responsibilities: Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives. Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs effectively.
