Construction Manager

The Manager , Area Construction is responsible for onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements and ensuring cognizance to cost estimates for realization of maximum profit. This individual is also responsible for pursuing and booking traditional utility and industrial project and maintenance work within their assigned local area . %0A %0A Understands and communicates contract T&C’s %0A Monitors project change management issues %0A Identifies and targets future bid opportunities %0A Manages project P&L within their local area of responsibility %0A Oversees, reviews, and approves project execution %0A Intermittently staffs project job site %0A Oversees performance of small service projects %0A Addresses, advises on, and assists with critical issues relative to projects within area of responsibility %0A Communicates significant project issues to management %0A Ensures compliance of project and personnel in accordance w/ Company policies and ethics programs %0A Develops and manages talent within area of responsibility %0A Challenges project team(s) to be customer and performance driven %0A Develops and manages talent within their assigned district %0A Intermittently represents BWCC opposite organized labor on jurisdictional issues, pre-job conferences, and the grievance process %0A Occasionally represents BWCC opposite organized labor on collective bargaining committees and apprenticeships committees for their local area of responsibility %0A Occasionally oversee contract negotiation within area of responsibility %0A Intermittently oversee contract execution issue resolution %0A Perform all other duties as assigned %0A The Manager , Area Construction is responsible for onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements and ensuring cognizance to cost estimates for realization of maximum profit.
