    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Bilingual (CKD) Material Purchasing Assistant Manager is responsible for establishing and administering the Purchasing Working Group. Ensuring the production line has a continuous supply of needed parts by monitoring inventory levels and purchasing processes, providing information to suppliers, working on trial builds and Purchase Orders, maintaining purchasing information, providing information for status reports, and analyzing part requirements</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong> (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</p>\n<p><strong>[KD Purchasing]</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.</li>\n <li>Provide requirements and inventory assessments to Suppliers to ensure efficient operations of all applicable module processes.</li>\n <li>Prepare and present reports and information related to shortage problems and communicate to management, including reporting weekly/monthly plan vs. result information; Expedite delivery of shortage.</li>\n <li>Monitor production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, suppliers, and CKD Control Item in HQ KR.</li>\n <li>Review production schedules to determine material requirements and material priorities for Purchase Order release.</li>\n <li>Prepare and analyze transportation costs and plan for saving costs on transportation.</li>\n <li>Coordinate the effective flow of products; continually improve the flow of material to reduce the amount of inventory; make recommendations and adjustments.</li>\n <li>Work with Production Control on all trial buildings and issue Purchase Orders to support the programs, ensuring timely delivery and correct Engineering Order-level parts.</li>\n <li>Perform physical checks of inventory to troubleshoot inventory accuracy errors.</li>\n <li>Monitor and compare supplier returns with systematic movements</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate material data and transactions in the SAP system.</li>\n <li>Maintain Supplier portal system contents (GSCP)</li>\n <li>Meet all other requirements as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>[Customs & Duty]</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor import customers' clearance status and Trade policy change between the US and KR (especially the duty ratio)</li>\n <li>Contact window for Customs clearance and Duty authorities with the Customs Broker</li>\n <li>Deal with the Audit from CBP and Trading issue response</li>\n <li>Conduct a contingency plan when there is trouble with customs clearance for air freight.</li>\n <li>Make plans for the duty budget and maintain the account amount for duty.</li>\n <li>Manage container detention and demurrage (CY free time) in US ports, track containers in transit, at the ports, at CY, and call containers to the plant.</li>\n <li>Maintain import documents (C/O, Invoice, P/L, B/L) and verify HS-code.</li>\n <li>Timekeeping, Correction action, 30/60/90 Evaluation</li>\n <li>Meet all other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>AUTHORITY & SCOPE</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Yes</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required and preferred for this position.)</p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree- Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/Logistics/Supply Chain Management</li>\n <li>5 to 7 years of experience in Just in Sequence-related purchasing experience in the Automotive industry preferred.</li>\n <li>Experienced in the automotive industry- plant build-up desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be fluent in Korean and English, written and spoken.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word</li>\n <li>SAP experience (PP/MM/SD) desired<strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Overtime as needed.</li>\n <li>Traversing around the production floor</li>\n <li>Occasional travel as needed<em>.</em></li>\n</ul>",
