    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;</div><h3 id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Now Hiring: Education Specialist &ndash; Queens Childcare Network (QCCN)</strong></h3><p>Queens Community House (QCH), a multi-site, multi-service settlement house serving the diverse neighborhoods of Queens, is seeking an <strong>Education Specialist</strong> to join our <strong>Queens Childcare Network (QCCN)</strong> team.</p><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><p>The Education Specialist will build strengths-based, collaborative relationships with licensed in-home childcare providers, offering coaching and support to enhance play-based, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the <strong>NYC Department of Education (DOE) curriculum</strong>. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape <strong>early childhood education</strong> by empowering providers to create high-quality learning environments that support children&rsquo;s growth and school readiness.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Support <strong>45+ in-home childcare providers</strong> serving over <strong>500 children</strong>, from infants to age 12.</li><li>Assist in launching and implementing <strong>NYC DOE EarlyLearn and 3K programs</strong>.</li><li>Provide <strong>bi-monthly, strengths-based coaching</strong> to up to <strong>17 affiliated providers</strong> to enhance curriculum delivery.</li><li>Guide providers in adapting evidence-based curriculum to support mixed-age learning environments.</li><li>Collaborate with the <strong>Education Director, Family Support Workers, and Health Monitors</strong> to provide holistic child and family support.</li><li>Assist providers in <strong>observing child development, documenting progress, and using assessment data</strong> for curriculum planning.</li><li>Maintain compliance with the <strong>DOE&rsquo;s Early Childhood Framework for Quality (EFQ)</strong>.</li><li>Facilitate <strong>professional development sessions</strong> and coordinate learning days throughout the year.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with <strong>community partners</strong> offering mental health, special needs, and supportive services.</li><li>Attend <strong>weekly team meetings</strong> and <strong>NYC DOE training sessions</strong>.</li><li>Support <strong>outreach, enrollment, and administrative tasks</strong> as needed.</li></ul><h3><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</strong> in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler Education (<strong>Master&rsquo;s preferred</strong>).
