    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Under general supervision, the Warehouse Team Lead supports the Site Supervisor and Warehouse Manager, with providing direction and instruction to team members assigned to their department(s). The Warehouse Team Lead is a warehouse worker who is responsible for guiding a group of employees within a specific department, communicates department goals, ensures productivity goals are met, and communicates safety practices.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all employees and activities are operating within designated safety standards</li>\n <li>Work with and assist team with warehouse processes or system issues</li>\n <li>Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to facilitate inbound and outbound shipping and inventory tracking.</li>\n <li>Operate powered tool equipment including but not limited to hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift, cherry picker, clamp, reach truck, etc.</li>\n <li>If required to operate a forklift, must be able to successfully complete a forklift certification</li>\n <li>Stage products</li>\n <li>Load and unload shipment</li>\n <li>Assists with Kaizen events as directed by CBPS Site Manager</li>\n <li>Assists with execution of weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity</li>\n <li>Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment</li>\n <li>Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability</li>\n <li>Assists in the handling of materials and items from receiving area to designated bin locatons</li>\n <li>Facilitates outbound shipments using proper packing methods and 3rd party delivery services</li>\n <li>Fulfills orders that are ready for shipment via will call, delivery or install</li>\n <li>Receive and unpack materials and supplies</li>\n <li>Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment</li>\n <li>Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming</li>\n <li>Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes accordingly</li>\n <li>Allocates product to appropriate rack, shelf or bin location according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, brand or product code</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges.</li>\n <li>Handle hazardous materials</li>\n <li>Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages</li>\n <li>Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage</li>\n <li>Follows CBPS safety practices and procedures and contributes to a positive CBPS safety culture</li>\n <li>Additional Shift responsibilities as assigned by the CBPS Site Manager</li>\n <li>Maintains safe, clean and orderly work environment at all times.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing</li>\n <li>May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs</li>\n <li>Mental qualifications include ability to count, maintain logs and understand all safety requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of Supervisory or Lead experience</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of forklift experience, if position requires forklift or powered- truck operation</li>\n <li>Experienced operating power tool equipment including but not limited to cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with material handling is required</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts</li>\n <li>Must successfully pass all CBPS Safety Training and equipment handling procedures</li>\n <li>If required to operate a forklift, must be able to successfully receive a forklift certification</li>\n <li>May perform split shifts as determined by the CBPS Site Manager</li>\n <li>Experience operating powered tool equipment.</li>\n <li>Must wear personal protective equipment as required for the job.</li>\n <li>Must know how to properly handle hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Complying with all OSHA and MSDS standards.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office 365</li>\n <li>Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An opportunity to join an established team and be part of a successful and proven global organization!</li>\n <li>A competitive compensation program!</li>\n <li>Large Company Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/401K with a competitive company match!</li>\n <li>Employee discounts on Canon products & vendor discount programs for employees! </li>\n <li>World-Class Training & Career Development Programs!</li>\n</ul>",
