Join us and grow with a leader in the industry!</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor (Millard). The Janitorial Supervisor will direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff and oversee quality of work performed.  This role will liaise with customer representatives and ensure the highest level of service is provided to agreed specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay Rate: $24.00 hrly</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delegate workload of janitorial staff members</li>\n <li>Perform quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed in accordance with our customer contract</li>\n <li>Answer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaning</li>\n <li>Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked</li>\n <li>Oversee table, chair, stage, retail merchandising unit set-ups as required</li>\n <li>Inform maintenance department and supervisor of any maintenance deficiencies</li>\n <li>Conduct safety training; coach and mentor janitorial team members</li>\n <li>Perform payroll duties, as needed</li>\n <li>Make productivity recommendations to leadership staff</li>\n <li>Participate in selection and placement of janitorial team members</li>\n <li>Provide team feedback and provide guidance for improvement</li>\n <li>On occasion, may be required to perform janitorial duties to supplement staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess one or more of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role</li>\n   <li>Minimum of six (6) months of janitorial work experience employed by Allied Universal Janitorial Services, Millard Group, or other Allied Universal business</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot, manage stressful situations</li>\n <li>Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy; coaching, mentoring</li>\n <li>Write informatively, clearly, and accurately</li>\n <li>Able to work a flexible schedule</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Ability to self-initiate work; proactive</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and decision-making skills</li>\n <li>Active listening</li>\n <li>Assess and evaluate situations effectively</li>\n <li>Identify critical issues quickly and accurately</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior supervisory experience in the janitorial or housekeeping industry</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
