This role combines automotive maintenance, light-to-moderate body repair, and fleet operations support in a high-growth autonomous vehicle (AV) environment.<br>This is a hands-on position ideal for experienced automotive technicians with strong mechanical aptitude, body shop experience, and a safety-first mindset. You will play a critical role in ensuring fleet safety, performance, compliance, and road readiness.<br><br><strong>Key</strong> <strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Assess, document, and photograph vehicle damage following road incidents</li><li>Perform minor on-site automotive repairs and coordinate major repairs with partner service centers</li><li>Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections (brakes, tires, fluids, HVAC/AC, diagnostics)</li><li>Execute light-to-moderate automotive body work, including:</li><li>Panel alignment and panel fitting</li><li>Trim and bumper repair or replacement</li><li>Mirror and exterior component installation</li><li>Cosmetic repairs and touch-ups</li><li>Sanding, surface preparation, priming, and minor paint correction</li><li>Light welding as needed</li><li>Distinguish cosmetic vs. structural damage and escalate appropriately</li><li>Support vehicle evacuations, towing coordination, and emergency response</li><li>Transport fleet vehicles to service appointments, repair facilities, and car washes</li><li>Maintain shop cleanliness, safety compliance, and fleet readiness standards</li><li>Proactively identify mechanical or body issues before they impact operations</li></ul><strong>Required</strong> <strong>Qualifications (Must-have)</strong><ul><li>2+ years of automotive technician, fleet technician, or body shop experience</li><li>Hands-on experience with automotive body repair, panel fitting, or exterior component installation</li><li>Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a professional automotive environment</li><li>Strong understanding of vehicle fit-and-finish standards</li><li>Ability to assess body damage and determine repair scope</li><li>Experience with routine vehicle maintenance and inspections</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li><li>Strong documentation and reporting skills</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred</strong> <strong>Qualifications (Nice to have)</strong><ul><li>Experience working with electric vehicles (EV) or hybrid vehicles</li><li>Exposure to autonomous vehicle (AV) fleets or mobility operations</li><li>ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence)</li><li>Fleet maintenance or transportation operations experience</li></ul><strong>How to Apply</strong><div>Submit your updated CV and complete the screening questions.
