The Company’s three core products are </span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https://www.snapchat.com/\"><u>Snapchat</u></a><span>, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; </span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https://ar.snap.com/lens-studio\"><u>Lens Studio</u></a><span>, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, </span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https://www.spectacles.com/\"><u>Spectacles</u></a><span>.</span></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span><span>We’re looking for a Product Design Engineer to join the Spectacles team at Snap Taiwan! </span></span></p><p></p><p><span><b><span>What you’ll do:</span></b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Design, prototype, and analyze exciting new products and components from concept to mass production.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with industrial design, operations, and cross-functional engineering teams.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for design improvements.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support development builds onsite at external component suppliers and contract manufacturers.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Create detailed design models and documentation for production.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop and conduct technical experiments to select designs, materials, and technologies.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead and contribute to technical design reviews.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Travel to support build.</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b><span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong engineering fundamentals, including wide knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D documentation.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Technical background in product design, mechanical architecture, tolerance analysis, design for manufacturing, and structural analysis.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Strong communication skills -- written, verbal, and presentations.
