What You Will Get To Do:
This role will be based out of our Japan office and will be responsible for the processing of day to day activities on the Transfer Agency service desk including account opening, investor AML/KYC, deal processing and client servicing for our offshore transfer agency clients wi th Japan b ased distribution requirements.
Role Responsibilities: Handling of day to day and complex queries, ensuring resolution in a timely and accurate manner with escalation to management if necessary. Performing day to day service desk activities including but not limited to: Account opening and maintenance of register AML/KYC Deal processing Trailer fee & sales commission support Investor/client query support Reporting Adhere to procedures, policies and processes so that a high quality service is delivered to the customer. Propose procedural changes to improve performance and efficiency of the department. Assist in client specific and regional project implementations. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Transfer Agency processes and Systems.
Skills and Competencies:
A good understanding of the client service model, business strategy, structure and product offering. Strong level of communication with all levels of staff including local and global management. Strong risk, control and problem-solving skills. Strong administrative and business support skills. Able to work accurately within tight deadlines.

2+ years of experience in a related role within a similar environment. Good Transfer Agency operations and technology knowledge including the Financial Services regulatory environment. Collaborate – Must be able to work in a co-operative manner with both internal and external teams and take all views and interests into account when formulating outcomes. Ensure Accountability – Must take full ownership of their assigned responsibilities and the outcomes that are generated and pursued. Customer Focus – Must understand customer and partner needs from both a functional and operational perspective. Communicate Effectively – Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in written and verbal forms, across all levels of an organisation and all sizes of groups. Must also be able to listen to others and evidence that they have understood the needs communicated appropriately.
