Job Summary: Apex is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to generate new business, develop strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth within our target markets. This role requires a motivated sales professional who excels in consultative selling, negotiation, and business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales and a results-driven mindset to identify opportunities, close deals, and support long-term customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients. Conduct site assessments and provide tailored waste management solutions to meet client needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present proposals, reports, and sales forecasts to management. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Additional duties include identifying prospective customers and building new business pipelines, cold calls and large format presentations, exceptional follow-up skills that lead to closed-won sales. Qualifications & Experience: 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or a related industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to generate leads and close sales. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the designated territory. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in sales may be considered in lieu of a degree. Working Conditions: Monday–Friday, standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on client availability or business needs. Combination of office work and field visits to client sites, including industrial, commercial, and outdoor environments. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while meeting with clients or conducting site assessments. Frequent local travel within assigned territory; occasional travel outside the region for training or company meetings may be required. Weather Conditions: May be exposed to various weather conditions while conducting on-site visits.
