It includes a 12-week paid training program.  </em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide general LTL and volume quoting</li>\n <li>Coordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipments</li>\n <li>Schedule pick-ups</li>\n <li>Trace shipments and provide freight charges</li>\n <li>Process re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customers</li>\n <li>Process fax and Internet requests</li>\n <li>Handle Managed Accounts and special requests from customers and sales reps.</li>\n <li>Effective and efficiently resolve customer issues and respond to customer questions regarding shipments; develop and maintain positive relationships with customers</li>\n <li>Meet monthly department telephone and email goals</li>\n <li>Receive and accurately direct incoming telephone calls for PITT OHIO and associated companies</li>\n <li>Represent the PITT OHIO brand in a friendly, welcoming, and warm manner with all callers and visitors</li>\n <li>Greet clients and visitors and notify staff of visitor’s arrival</li>\n <li>Provide information and assistance to clients and customers</li>\n <li>Maintain welcoming environment</li>\n <li>Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers</li>\n <li>High School Graduate or GED</li>\n <li>Proficient in general math</li>\n <li>Must be able to multi-task</li>\n <li>Must be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm</li>\n <li>Previous experience in telephone customer service/call center environment helpful</li>\n <li>Transportation experience preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Environment, particularly Excel, Word and Email</li>\n <li>An excellent phone voice and a colorful / dynamic personality is essential</li>\n <li>Comfortable with existing and constant changes in technology</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Flexibility with changing job duties</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PITT OHIO is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
