This is because we celebrate the diversity of thought, the richness of the human experience and the desire to reflect the communities we serve.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Summary</strong><br />\r\nPerform a variety of material handling duties and responsibilities to ensure the consistent flow of materials throughout the donated goods and retail division.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist in general warehouse operations by performing assigned duties in warehouse, post- consumer sorting of commodities, outlet rotation and tipping.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Accurately completes paperwork including but not limited to: &nbsp;Truck manifest forms, powered industrial equipment inspections, SAP scanning.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains a clean and organized work area that is cleaned of dust, debris, loose clothing and any hazards during and at the end of each shift. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Receives goods from the general public; to include, but not be limited to: &nbsp;Greets and assists donors by providing information; unloads donations; offers and provides receipts, determines what is acceptable according to criteria; rejects unusable items tactfully; as per training, provides tax information per guidelines; maintains excellent public relations at all times; sorts donations into proper containers and removes trash; completes all necessary paperwork such as daily donor logs, donor receipts, etc.; keeps donation site clear and clean at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Presents an appropriate appearance and good customer service to the general public and coworkers.</li>\r\n\t<li>Promotes an environment of workplace safety.
