Position Summary While reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for depot repair and on-site service repairs and maintenance of aesthetic laser equipment. This is a field based position in the Northwest area Job Responsibilities The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Perform in-house device verification, device repair and software validation Using company guidelines to repair, test, calibrate and install aesthetic laser systems and/or subassemblies Provide professional, courteous, prompt and skilled technical service to customers Responsible for documenting all service activities in timely manner and in compliance with FDA requirements Act as an expert in the field to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Manipulate and manage schedule(s) to best serve customer needs and gaps Report and escalate to supervisor any potential problems which could impact timely completion of the repair Proactive in finding methods to improve reliability, manufacturing and engineering Work closely with ASM and RSM to identify customers for upgrades, new purchases, and additional customer training Identify error codes, re-occurring problems and troubleshooting solutions to direct supervisor and R&D to solve problems Responsible for the operational quality of the system and instructing customers on the operation and maintenance of the system Independent and timely submission of RMAs, closing calls, and expense reports Required Work Experience and Skills Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations: Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls Reach with hands and arms to scoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds Required Experience BS or AS in Electronics, Laser Technology or equivalent Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electronic system troubleshooting High-level customer service skills, positive attitude, and ability to communicate with others clearly and tactfully. Enhanced knowledge and understanding of optics, electronics, and mechanic principles Ability to troubleshoot electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies down to component level Requires ability to schedule travel for customer appointments Travel up to 85% domestic and/or international Handles multiple requests/projects simultaneously and prioritize. Ability to work independently
