Description

Summary The AOG Maintenance Technician works directly with the AOG Manager to ensure AOG, unscheduled and scheduled aircraft are supported at San Luis Obispo (KSBP) and in the field. This position is responsible for performing all maintenance projects assigned to them while ensuring their work is meeting the highest quality standards. When not working on AOG aircraft in the field, this position will be participating in unscheduled and scheduled maintenance in the Part 145 Repair Station. These activities must be done while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors and clients. Irregular, yet frequent travel is required for this position, including overnight stays. Available hours must be flexible for on-call work, including nights and weekends. Hourly pay with OT compensation is negotiable, based on experience. Any employee that has accepted the position of AOG Maintenance Technician is required to competently perform within the following job description. An AOG Technician is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance assigned by the AOG Manager. Once they have been assigned the job, they are to set up and perform the maintenance. They are to communicate professionally and in a timely manner to the Shift Supervisor or AOG Manager. They are to perform the maintenance as described by the manufacturer’s specifications and to the standards set forth by ACI Jet. They are to communicate any concerns or lack of capabilities to the Shift Supervisor or AOG Manager. Reports To The AOG Maintenance Technician - KSBP reports directly to the AOG Manager, as well as the on-duty Shift Supervisor.
