The Fuels Regulatory Specialist plays a key role in protecting operational integrity, minimizing risk, and advancing strategic compliance initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required regulatory filings. Advisory & Stakeholder Support Provide regulatory guidance to business units and management on fuels compliance requirements and procedures. Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business practices. Coordinate cross-functional issues involving multiple regulations, programs, or stakeholders. Program Development & Systems Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of fuels compliance systems, including FCS and PTD systems. Collaborate with IT and internal SMEs to improve system functionality, reporting capabilities, and data integrity. Assist in the development and delivery of corporate fuels compliance training programs. Compliance Oversight & Continuous Improvement Coordinate and support compliance assessments, audits, and attestations, including resolution of findings and corrective actions. Monitor regulatory developments and maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and proposed fuels regulations. Contribute to regulatory comment development, evaluating potential business impacts. Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance compliance program effectiveness. Collaboration & Special Projects Participate in Fuels Compliance Leaders’ Network and/or LCAP Network and present materials as needed. Lead or support special projects aligned with evolving business and regulatory needs. Coordinate efforts with internal teams and external vendors/customers as required .
