Design Build; Design-Bid-Build).  May supervise junior staff members.  Position normally requires 7+ years of construction estimating.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Responsibilities </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Meets all minimum qualifications of Estimator I and II, in addition to the following</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Primarily autonomous in position</span></span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work with business development and marketing department on site visits to gather information to propose on RFPs or estimates</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Perform comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Identify key issues / opportunities that impact project success</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Support estimating functions including delegation of work, areas of responsibility, compiling estimates and preparation</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Lead bidding process including solicitation, communication, proposals, evaluation and analysis</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Coach and mentor other estimators</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Very proficient at all estimating tools – Dashboard, tracking log, cost model, estimate, RFI logs, clarifications, etc</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist with interviewing candidates for the Estimating Department</span></span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist in training other estimators in the MET preconstruction process</span></span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Keep current and up-to-date with computer software updates </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Participate in company training programs and attend authorized external conferences or seminars as required to keep current in company and industry standards and operating procedures.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Perform any special assignments, additional projects, or other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position as required by the executive team</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">What we’re looking for</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">2-4 year college degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">and/or</span> equivalent work experience</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">7+ years of estimating experience </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Advanced experience with Estimation Software required</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience on industrial projects.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrate commitment to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrate advanced level knowledge of construction methods and construction contracts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to be strategic, think critically and analytically</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrate mature judgement in anticipating and solving problems</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong organizations skills;
