Try it for yourself and see what we&#8217;re made of.</p><p><strong>Now hiring Gerawan employees/<i>Ahora estamos contratando empleados de Gerawan.</i></strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>Responsible for the sanitation of all equipment in the facility while maintaining compliance related to GMP&#8217;s and Safety.&#160;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Able to work as a member of a team and individually</li><li>Ability to understand and perform sanitation procedures as listed on SSOP; aware of SSOP processes including Safety and Sanitation Procedures</li><li>Assemble/Disassemble manufacturing equipment as needed prior to and after cleaning/sanitizing according to manufacturing SSOP standards</li><li>Follow master cleaning schedule as assigned by Food Safety Manager including specific cleaning duties in production areas, warehouse area, packaging and equipment</li><li>Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor on daily, weekly, monthly, 6 month, and yearly master schedules as needed</li><li>Operate equipment, mix and use chemicals following proper handling procedures with special emphasis on safety, proper storage and use of chemicals</li><li>Wash equipment production areas, and storage rooms</li><li>Sanitize fruit processing equipment such as conveyor belts, pack tables, brushes, etc.</li><li>Clean all types of floors including the production floor with hoses, chemicals, and floor scrubber as needed</li><li>Responsible for removal of fruit in production area, handling trash disposal in production and wash areas</li><li>Responsible for following all food safety and quality procedures outlined in PrimusGFS/SQF requirements</li><li>Responsible for reporting any violations and injuries to supervisor or plant manager immediately</li><li>Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use and knowledge of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established company policies and procedures</li><li><strong>Other duties, will be assigned</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively</li><li>Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to work well in a team-based environment</li><li>Ability to lift 20-75 pounds</li><li>Ability to be exposed to sanitation/cleaning chemicals</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong><br>While performing the duties of this job, it requires to frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.&#160; Also is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
