As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on leader to drive operations in the field.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span>Position Summary</span></span></p>\n<p><span>We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations across our projects and worksites. Reporting to the Operations / Project Manager, the Superintendent is responsible for leading crews, coordinating resources, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in building strong, capable teams.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span>Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Plan, direct, and oversee daily field operations across one or more active sites</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Supervise, schedule, and mentor crews, foremen, and subcontractors</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and logistics to meet project timelines</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ensure all work meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company health &amp; safety policies</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Liaise with clients, project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Monitor progress, track costs and productivity, and report on key metrics</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Identify and resolve operational issues proactively</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Maintain accurate site documentation and daily reports</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span>Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial, construction, or related field operations</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Strong working knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and occupational health &amp; safety practices</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Solid planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Effective communication and problem-solving skills</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Relevant safety certifications / tickets an asset (e.g., First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space, WHMIS)</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Valid BC driver’s licence and a clean driving record</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ability to work on-site and travel between locations as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span>What We Offer</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Competitive salary based on experience</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Comprehensive benefits package (extended health, dental, and vision)</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Stable, full-time work with a growing company</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Opportunities for professional development and advancement</span></li>\n<li><br><span>A supportive team that puts safety and quality first</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span>How to Apply</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[email protected]</span> with the subject line <em>“Superintendent Application.”</em></span></p>\n<p><em>Salish Sea Industrial Services is an equal opportunity employer.
