This position is responsible for leading inspection activities, supporting Quality Inspectors onsite, communicating with customer representatives, and ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Lead and support a team of Quality Inspectors onsite</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts and products</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ensure inspection activities are completed accurately and in accordance with customer requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Train and mentor inspectors on quality standards, procedures, and expectations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Assist with staffing coordination, attendance management, and daily operational needs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Communicate professionally with customers, site leadership, and PPG Quality management</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Complete required reports, documentation, and quality records</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Identify and escalate quality concerns as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Support containment, sorting, rework, and inspection projects</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and quality excellence</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Serve as the primary point of contact for inspectors during assigned shifts</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Previous quality inspection experience required</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality standards</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Basic computer skills, including email, reporting, and data entry</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, as customer needs require</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach as required</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse environments</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds as needed</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Equal Employment Opportunity</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">PPG Quality is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
