    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Job Title: Sewer</p><p>Location: Morristown, TN</p><p>Reports To: Supervisor</p><p><br></p><p>Primary duties will include:</p><p>&bull; Responsible for cutting fabric and sewing them together to create patterns.</p><p>&bull; Responsible for adjusting the length or size to fabrics.</p><p>&bull; Performing quality control after product is finished.</p><p>&bull; Constructing fabrics specified by customer.</p><p>&bull; Using other tools like scissors or measuring devices.</p><p>&bull; Report scrap daily.</p><p>&bull; Clean up during shift as needed to be safe at end of shift.</p><p>&bull; Set the highest ethical standards for self and others.</p><p>&bull; Other duties as assigned.</p><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>&bull; Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience.</p><p>&bull; Skilled in using various types of sewing machines, and hand sewing tools.</p><p>&bull; Product knowledge.</p><p>&bull; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.</p><p>&bull; Strong attention to detail.</p><p>&bull; Ability to work safely and efficiently.</p><p>&bull; Must wear the required PPE (personal protective equipment).</p><p>&bull; Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</p><p>&bull; Must be able to work with minimal supervision.</p><p>&bull; Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.</p><p>&bull; Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.</p><p><br></p><p>Preferred education:</p><p>&bull; High School Diploma required.</p><p>&bull; We will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.</p><p><br></p><p>The essential physical &amp; environmental requirements of the position are:</p><p>&bull; Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. without assistance.</p><p>&bull; Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.</p><p>&bull; Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer and perform repetitive tasks.</p><p>&bull; Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.</p><p>&bull; Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.</p><p><br></p><p>MooreCo, Inc. is the leader in the educational and commercial markets for visual communication products, technology support equipment, and office furniture.
