Benefits may vary based on state law.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p> We have an opportunity for a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Outpatient Clinic team.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The LPN is accountable for providing care for pediatric patients.  </li>\n <li>Works as an advocate for patients and families in a collaborative effort with the multidisciplinary team.  </li>\n <li>Works to achieve quality outcomes using a family centered care philosophy.  </li>\n <li>Demonstrates flexibility in working hours in order to meet patient care requirements.</li>\n <li>Communicates in a positive and proactive manner at all times including, but not limited to, telephone interactions and gives concise report when leaving work area.</li>\n <li>Documents care provided completely and concisely according to guidelines and in compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 requirements.</li>\n <li>Assists with Telehealth appointments as needed</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<p>Certificate in Nursing</p>\n<p>LPN License in state of practice</p>\n<p>Basic Life Support (BLS)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<p>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) </p>\n<p>At least 1 year of pediatric ortho, burns, and/or rehab </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Shriners Children’s is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.</em></p>\n<p> </p>",
