    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Carry out electronics design under the guidance of senior members of the design team.</li>\n <li>Keep following roadmaps for active and passive components like drivers, TIAs, ICs, capacitors and resistors from internal and external vendors.</li>\n <li>Follow state of art PCB materials and manufacturing capabilities with respect to higher performance and optimal cost for high-speed transceiver applications.</li>\n <li>Use PADS PCB software to generate schematics and PCB layouts.</li>\n <li>Bring up and troubleshoot circuit boards to ensure proper functionality.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with mechanical, optical, and testing team members on assembly automation projects.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of designs, processes, and test results.</li>\n <li>Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures for electronic components.</li>\n <li>Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics design.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS or Ph. D. in&nbsp;Electrical Engineering or related technical fields.</li>\n <li>3-5 years of related experience is preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Solid foundation in analog and digital circuit design.</li>\n <li>Understanding of PCB design rules and familiarity with PADS software or similar design tools.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of active and passive electrical components.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with little supervision and manage assigned tasks effectively.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Identify, select, and implement new development, component, manufacturing and/or testing technologies to develop innovative solutions for high-speed optical packages.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position is Onsite</li>\n <li>May require occasional off-site meetings</li>\n <li>Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary</li>\n <li>Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job</li>\n <li>May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.</li>\n <li>Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.</li>\n <li>Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
