This mid-level role requires independent troubleshooting, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to support multiple sites to ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable environments for staff, program participants, and customers.</p>\n\n<p>In alignment with Goodwill&rsquo;s mission, this role also supports workforce development by helping facilitate applied learning opportunities for Helms College students enrolled in the HVACR program when feasible.</p>\n\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong></p>\n\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and ventilation systems</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Respond to service requests and emergency repair calls in a timely manner</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and preventive maintenance logs</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Monitor system performance and recommend energy-efficient improvements</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Support preventative maintenance programs across retail stores, donation centers, and administrative facilities</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in proper working condition</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Promote a safe work environment and follow all organizational safety policies</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Support the mission of Helms College by helping provide applied, hands-on learning opportunities for HVAC students, as appropriate and in coordination with Facilities leadership and academic staff</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Offer guidance, coaching, and informal mentoring to students to enhance real-world skill development</p>\n",
