Binders do so in order to provide an aesthetically pleasing accent to the guitar, as well as protect the edge from damage. Alternating patterns and thicknesses of binding provide a unique look to each series of Gibson guitars and vary from a single black strip to more ornate abalone inlays.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Learn and execute standard operating procedures.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to lift, move, and bind a guitar. &nbsp;</li><li>After training is complete, a binder will bind to the required output according to the model mix.&nbsp;</li><li>This role is physically demanding on back, arms, and shoulders.&nbsp;</li><li>95% pass rate based on production requirements. &nbsp;</li><li>Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.) &nbsp;</li><li>Maintains product flow at appropriate rate.&nbsp;</li><li>Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety) &nbsp;</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules</li><li>Obligation to submit Safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code</li><li>Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Skills/Abilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Strong attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:22.5pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:4.5pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Knowledge</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>General knowledge of guitar construction required</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Personal Qualities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Passionate about working and winning in a team environment.</li><li>Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan</li><li>Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
