    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The Stroke &amp; Sepsis Coordinator maintains all programmatic responsibilities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes to evidence-based care delivery to the adult stroke and sepsis patient populations.</p><p><strong><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Associate degree in nursing required.</li></ol><p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Three years Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of two years charge nurse experience preferred.</li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Experience with process improvement modalities and teams </span></span><a><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">preferred</span></span></a></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Experience in the implementation and administration of clinical quality databases preferred</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Experience in healthcare quality or performance improvement preferred</span></span></li></ol><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Position requires someone comfortable with patient contact and performing as an advocate.</li><li>Teaching is expected to be a significant element of the position: families, staff and local associations.</li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Proven analytical skills with the ability to organize, maintain, process, and analyze large amounts of information and complex issues.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and appropriate manner (verbal, nonverbal, written and graphically) with a variety of audiences.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Ability to manage multiple complex assignments and projects.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Exceptional customer service and effective interaction with executives, physicians, staff and patients.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Strong diplomacy and collaboration skills.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Sound decision-making skills.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"color:black;font-family:inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">Spreadsheet and database software knowledge required</span></span></li></ol><p><strong><u>License/Certification/Registration:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required.</li></ol><p><strong><u>SUPERVISION RECEIVED</u></strong></p><p>Receives minimal supervision from the Supervisor, Quality &amp; Patient Safety.</p><p><strong><u>SUPERVISION GIVEN</u></strong></p><p>None</p>",
