If you are looking to make a real impact, to challenge the status quo, and develop and implement solutions with real results, then Wendel is the place for you!</p><p>Wendel is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as our next Construction Site Superintendent out of Knoxville, Iowa, for a long-term project. The Construction Superintendent will oversee an entire project site.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Act as the Wendel representative to the Owner during construction.</li><li>Maintain daily logs.</li><li>Review installed work.</li><li>Coordinate with onsite contractors and Owner.</li><li>Review pay applications.</li><li>Work closely with the project PM on all related tasks.</li><li>Create and update construction schedule. &nbsp;</li><li>Run Daily Plan of the Day meetings (POD). &nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate and lead weekly construction meetings.</li><li>Review RFI&rsquo;s and Change orders.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>10+ years of experience working in commercial construction.&nbsp;</li><li>A minimum of 8 years of experience working as a Construction Site Superintendent.</li><li>Competency with all Microsoft Office tools.</li><li>Superb communication skills.</li><li>Must have a Valid Driver&#39;s License and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.</li><li>Be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.</li><li>Travel overnight to work sites.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Employee-focused company culture and work environment.</li><li>Great benefits including:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Medical, dental, and vision</li><li>401k match</li><li>PTO</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul></li><li>HSA and FSA options.</li><li>Career advancement opportunities with Career and Professional Development.</li><li>Tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Parking reimbursement.</li><li>Wellness programs and health stipend.</li></ul><p>Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000</p><p>Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation.
