We take pride in our crews and in the properties we maintain.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Position overview</span></span></p>\n<p>As a Maintenance Crew Leader, you'll lead a crew delivering high-quality landscape bed maintenance across residential and commercial properties. You'll direct daily work, apply and oversee herbicide treatments, and develop the people around you, all while keeping sites looking sharp season after season.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Day-to-day responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and direct crew on weeding, mulching, edging, and debris removal</li>\n<li>Apply and oversee pre- and post-emergent herbicide treatments in compliance with safety and label guidelines</li>\n<li>Maintain crisp bed edges using manual tools, power edgers, and bed redefiners</li>\n<li>Diagnose weed, pest, and disease issues and develop appropriate treatment plans</li>\n<li>Plan workflows to optimize labor and materials without sacrificing quality</li>\n<li>Train and mentor crew members on technique, efficiency, and safety</li>\n<li>Inspect equipment before each job and ensure safe operation throughout the day</li>\n<li>Support snow and ice removal during the off-season</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">What we're looking for</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in landscape bed maintenance or a related field</li>\n<li>Comfortable leading a crew and holding people accountable to quality standards</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of herbicide application and weed, pest, and disease ID</li>\n<li>IL Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicators License, or willingness to obtain one, we'll help you get there</li>\n<li>Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record</li>\n<li>Able to lift up to 80lbs and work outdoors in all weather</li>\n<li>Available for snow operations as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">What Green View offers</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays</li>\n<li>401(k) retirement plan with company match</li>\n<li>Group Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance</li>\n<li>All job-specific equipment and safety gear provided</li>\n<li>Employee referral bonus program</li>\n<li>Company cell phone plan</li>\n<li>Real opportunity to grow, we promote from within</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Green View is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action employer.
