Our purpose and passion are to empower patients, their families, and our communities by helping individuals achieve recovery and optimal wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The schedule for this 40 hour weekly (exempt) position is Tuesday-Saturday, 8 hour shifts (Flexible with start times). </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p>Oversees day-to-day clinical responsibilities and monitor the quality of program services.  Responsibilities include reviewing therapy sessions and guiding Therapists in developing appropriate interventions, treatment plans appropriate to the industry standard, conduct ongoing assessments of the effectiveness of the treatment program, and work with the Program Services Director to ensure program efficiency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p>\n<p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides individual and group therapy and counseling sessions and documents appropriate notes for sessions provided.</li>\n <li>Provides Crisis Intervention sessions to clients on an as needed basis.  Documents in record and communicates to team results of sessions.</li>\n <li>Conducts initial assessments on assigned clients on an as needed basis to support the team workloads.</li>\n <li>Recommends to treatment team any specialized services identified for clients either while client is in treatment or as part of aftercare.  Uses professional knowledge base to recommend programs and providers</li>\n <li>Provides individual and group supervision to Interns which is consistent with expectations from the Board of Behavioral Sciences.</li>\n <li>Provides mentoring and/or coaching to other staff consistent with clinical supervisory skills.</li>\n <li>Serves as a clinical consultant on complex and sensitive cases.</li>\n <li>Makes self available to participate in after hours on-call supervision.</li>\n <li>Develops and conducts staff training activities to improve their clinical practice.</li>\n <li>Develop and write protocols as requested.</li>\n <li>Maintain Group Assignments Chart and keep track of coverage substitutions.</li>\n <li>Perform Quarterly Audits of Active and Closed Charts.</li>\n <li>Review documentation in electronic health record, and co-sign utilization review initial assessments, treatment plans, biopsychosocial assessments, and discharge summaries.</li>\n <li>Liaison with families of Clients as request during intake, treatment, and discharge planning.</li>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for managing direct reports</li>\n <li>Preparation and presentation of performance evaluations.</li>\n <li>Provides objective feedback to employees.</li>\n <li>Makes appropriate compensation recommendations, if applicable</li>\n <li>Provides appropriate training for department and hold staff accountable for attending required training.</li>\n <li>Holds interviews for vacant positions and makes appropriately selects candidates to fill open positions.</li>\n <li>Responsible for recommending and ensuring regulatory staffing patterns & managing annual budget.</li>\n <li>Monitors adherence to company and department policies, procedures and practices.</li>\n <li>Creates and supports a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment free work environment by understanding and complying with the company’s policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education/Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree in a behavioral sciences or mental health related field required, experience in a mental health setting preferred.</li>\n <li>Independently Licensed (LMHC, LCSW) in the state of practice required, supervision license strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>At least two years of clinical supervision preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of MS Office & Google Products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>AAC is committed to principles of equal opportunities for all employees.
