    "description": "<h2>Position Scope</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Scope</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>NACG are seeking <strong>Intermediate Maintenance Yardperson's</strong> to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area at our <strong>Suncor</strong> site.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform general maintenance, cleanup, and organizational duties within work areas (ie. roadways, clear snow, address potholes, water, etc.)</li>\n <li>Assist technicians with job setup/tear-down</li>\n <li>Assist technicians with assembly and testing when required (under direct supervision)</li>\n <li>Gather/deliver parts and components to assist job process</li>\n <li>Segregate waste and ensure proper storage of all controlled products in work areas</li>\n <li>Operate various equipment performing maintenance duties – Loader/Grader/Forklift/Skid-Steer/Light Duty Vehicles</li>\n <li>Assist technicians with assembly and testing when required (minimal supervision)</li>\n <li>Load/off-load freight components from delivery trucks with forklift</li>\n <li>Install/replace Ground Engagement Tools (G.E.T.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What Makes You The One</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3 months previous experience operating grader/loader</li>\n <li>Minimum 6 months previous experience in a heavy equipment maintenance or automotive repair environment</li>\n <li>Forklift/skid-steer certifications are considered an asset</li>\n <li>Class 3 License endorsement and prior experience with hauling/reversing trailers with a light duty truck is an asset w/air </li>\n <li>Proficient in all Intermediate Maintenance Yardperson duties</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>What's Next</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following:</p>\n<li>Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a recent Driver’s Abstract</li>\n<li>Provide a valid copies of the following: CSO, Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness & H2S Awareness.
