We're looking for a Master Electrician to join us at Marvin. Your typical day will include supporting the Marvin facilities, systems, and equipment including preventive maintenance, consulting on new and existing equipment and facilities, electrical (Intertek/UL) and building code requirements and supporting issues as they arise. You'll get to manage projects while still getting hands-on experience using your skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role works Monday through Friday with some after-hours & weekend on-call when necessary. Marvin offers an extensive relocation benefit package that includes the movement of your household goods, temporary housing, and much more – in addition to a relocation counselor to assist you throughout the entire journey.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Highlights of your role</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must demonstrate safe work habits and maintain good housekeeping at all times. </li>\n <li>Must have an understanding of facility electrical systems.  </li>\n <li>Display consistent improvement and accuracy in the performance of electrical trade skills. </li>\n <li>Working in tight spaces and in awkward positions to run wiring and remove old wiring. </li>\n <li>Working at elevations on ladders and aerial lift platforms. </li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented and able to read prints/drawings </li>\n <li>Must be able to accurately book hours toward work orders. Enter history comments, look up history on equipment. Locate parts in inventory, enter work orders, and request parts.  </li>\n <li>Able to understand equipment manuals including proper maintenance, troubleshooting, BOM's, etc.  </li>\n <li>Effectively communicate customer needs to maintenance, support departments and external customers in a positive manner. Also, able to contact appropriate support resources with questions for assistance. </li>\n <li>Must be able to select the proper equipment or tool(s) for the job at hand  </li>\n <li>Must be able/willing to attend, learn, and train fellow employees as time and tasks warrant. </li>\n <li>Must be able to trouble shoot problems and provide alternative solutions when necessary. </li>\n <li>Must flexible and willing to move from job task to job task without hesitation </li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and work in other trade skill areas as needed   </li>\n <li>Willingness to be cross trained in multiple departments and job roles. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong mechanical, electrical and programming aptitude and skills </li>\n <li>The ability to read and understand schematics/prints to complete electrical work </li>\n <li>The ability to work well independently with a focus to get things done right </li>\n <li>Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to understand facility and production equipment electrical systems. </li>\n <li>Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm – Drive for results. </li>\n <li>Communication and collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Also want to make sure you have</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must possess a current MN Journey Workers or Master Electrical License </p></li>\n <li><p>Prior experience in electrical work required </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin</h2>\n<p>From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
