The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Progress-based systems, possess strong analytical skills, and be capable of working independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, test, and deploy business applications using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge.</li>\n<li>Maintain and enhance existing Progress-based applications and integrations.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, testers, and other developers) to gather and understand requirements.</li>\n<li>Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices and development standards.</li>\n<li>Perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and system issues in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Assist in the modernisation and migration of legacy Progress applications to modern architectures or platforms if needed.</li>\n<li>Document technical specifications, application logic, and support guides.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing support and maintenance of deployed solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n<li>3+ years of experience with Progress 4GL / OpenEdge development.</li>\n<li>Experience with Progress database management and tuning.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Progress AppServer, WebSpeed, or PASOE is a plus.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of database structures, data modeling, and SQL.</li>\n<li>Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and other integration technologies.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage tasks and timelines independently or as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Good communication and documentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with ERP systems or enterprise-level Progress applications.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is an advantage.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).</li>\n<li>Agile or Scrum development experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The chance to work with motivated individuals boasting high competence and expertise.</li>\n<li>Fun team events.</li>\n<li>Days off for various life events.</li>\n<li>Stebby or Confido health insurance.</li>\n<li>Convenient office located in the heart of Tallinn.</li>\n<li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li>\n<li>A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values creativity and innovation.</li>\n</ul>",
