    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 18px\">Type of Law:</span></span><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 18px\"> Prosecution of State crimes occurring within the geographical jurisdiction of Charles County, Maryland.<br><br>Job Description: ASAs will appear in the District and Circuit Courts for Charles County, Maryland and represent the State in criminal cases.  Each attorney is responsible for litigating his/her assigned cases, to include providing discovery, summonsing, and interviewing witnesses, obtaining physical and digital evidence for use at trial, preparing pleadings, litigating pre-trial motions, litigating jury/bench trials, litigating sentencing hearings, litigating hearings on post-conviction and reconsideration of sentence motions, and other duties as assigned.<br><br>Starting Salary: Salary starting at $80,000. Starting salary dependent upon prior prosecutorial experience.   Medical, dental and pension benefits included. <br><br>Experience<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">: 0-5 years of experience</span>.
