S/he provides participants with structured routines and general group fitness feedback, while maintaining a positive social atmosphere for all group fitness members.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Takes and records objective measurements, including vital signs as needed.</li><li>Provides proper orientation and documentation.</li><li>Assesses and educates clients and members regarding proper techniques, and on health and fitness related topics.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors clients and members for safe operation of exercise equipment.</li><li>Leads group fitness classes, providing clients with structured routines and feedback, gauging intensity according to client tolerance.</li><li>Cleans and sets up rooms for classes.</li><li>Enforces “Rules and Regulations” to clients and members and reports serious infractions to the Supervisor and/or Director.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of proper cleaning procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness of all wellness center equipment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Provides general information about the Wellness Center, such as hours of operation, open and adult pool times, and specialty classes, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends department staff meetings.</li><li>Maintains and updates knowledge and skills to provide safe, efficient fitness programs for clients/members.</li><li>Other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul>",
