    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Long Prairie Packing, LLC</strong>, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a <strong>Fabrication Superintendent</strong> at our Long Prairie, MN plant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As our <strong>Fabrication Superintendent</strong>, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage all fabrication processes; make sure all operations are efficient, effective, and accurate according to customer specifications.</li>\n <li>Monitor downtime; provide solutions to reduce downtime.</li>\n <li>Monitor efficiencies.</li>\n <li>Maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible.</li>\n <li>Active food security and defense surveillance inside the facility and its operation.</li>\n <li>Monitor the cleanliness of the area(s).</li>\n <li>Complete reports and paperwork (discipline, progress evaluations, terminations, etc.).</li>\n <li>Check daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders, ensure every position is filled before start-up of production line, and job rotation in order to facilitate ergonomics, and ensure all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.</li>\n <li>Make sure all SQF, GMP, SOP, HACCP and OSHA rules are being followed.</li>\n <li>Ensure employee welfare and safety; promote safety on a daily basis.</li>\n <li>NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n <li>Must have HACCP and GMP knowledge.</li>\n <li>Must have a good attendance and safety record.</li>\n <li>Must have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)</li>\n <li>Must be able to successfully complete training:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Safety.</li>\n   <li>Safe Quality Food (SQF).</li>\n   <li>Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>\n   <li>Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).</li>\n   <li>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>\n   <li>Food defense.</li>\n   <li>Humane Handling.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of the entire Fabrication process.</li>\n <li>Good computer skills: ability to use designated programs including Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n <li>Display a strong work ethic and a professional attitude and appearance</li>\n <li>Must be assertive and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction, and work successfully as part of a team</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain effective employee relations</li>\n <li>Encourage professional team building</li>\n <li>Follow and enforce safety rules, housekeeping, and proper operation of equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to manage a group of personnel who perform various production tasks or activities.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and control the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with all levels of employees from hourly to upper management, as well as government officials.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead by example, encourage teamwork and learning, and motivate the hourly workforce.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The expected base salary range for this position is between $95,000 to $105,000.
