    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Fountain Tire Grande Prairie (10205 156 Ave) </strong>is looking for an experienced<strong> Commercial Tire Technician</strong> to <strong>operate a Tire Service Truck!</strong></p>\n<p>If you are a team player ready to tackle any tire or task, and are dedicated to providing top-notch service, we want to hear from you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What is in it for you?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive compensation: $25 to $32 per hour (based on experience) plus labour bonuses!</strong></li>\n <li><strong>We take care of you and your family with our impressive health, dental and vision benefits</strong></li>\n <li><strong>A retirement savings plan with company matching to help you achieve your financial goals</strong></li>\n <li>Regular day shifts with the opportunity for money-making overtime and on-call work</li>\n <li>We will develop your skills and certifications with our excellent training</li>\n <li>Save your money with our staff discounts on tires, parts, and mechanical services at all Fountain Tire locations</li>\n <li>Permanent, Full-Time position</li>\n <li><strong>An awesome Fountain Tire work truck for your service calls</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, balance, rotate and repair tires as directed by customer work order in a safe and efficient manner; this includes ensuring all tires and wheels are inspected for correct inflation, wear patterns, tread depth and damage as per inspection form and documented accordingly, and adhering to required torque specifications.</li>\n <li>Complete assigned eLearning courses (and required skills demonstration forms) including Tire Industry Association (TIA103, 203, 303, 403, 603 and 703), WHMIS, Customer Experience Standards, and other courses with a passing grade; this includes completing recertification when required, and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.</li>\n <li>Complete full process of service work order, which includes taking initial service call, customer contact and billing information, ensuring all products and services are billed accurately, etc.</li>\n <li>Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)</li>\n <li>Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis; this includes tire balancing equipment, tire changing equipment, compressors/air equipment, and hydraulic</li>\n <li>Deliver customer tire maintenance program by visiting assigned locations to complete fleet checks, etc.</li>\n <li>Complete specialty tire work which could include studding, syping, calcium, regroove, retread, foam fill, run flat, etc.</li>\n <li>Ensure all equipment, tools and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper location, immediately reporting any concerns or damaged equipment or tools to Supervisor for repair or replacement.</li>\n <li>Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner; this includes having the appropriate vehicle license, using proper barriers to maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring equipment and loads in company vehicles are safely secured for transportation.</li>\n <li>Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.</li>\n <li>Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.</li>\n <li>Special projects and other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>What kind of person are we looking for?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>We are looking for someone with at least 1 years of Farm, OTR, or Commercial tire experience</strong></li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract</li>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED is an asset</li>\n <li>A customer service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers; this includes good communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge</li>\n <li>Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; this includes organization, time management and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills to successfully complete required learning and safety courses and achieve certification where required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and ability to excel in aphysically demanding environment that demands consistently lifting</li>\n <li>We need someone who can be on call after hours</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 35 kilograms if required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work!
