Description

About the Job: LaunchDarkly is seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer with experience utilizing Golang, React, and Typescript – bonus if you have experience with customer facing data-driven products!. You’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, and fullstack engineers, along with product managers, data scientists, and designers, to help build an experimentation platform that balances power and accessibility. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, performant services using Go and RESTful APIs, and user experiences built with React and TypeScript. You’ll have opportunities to take ownership of projects, grow your technical expertise, and help improve the quality and reliability of our systems. We’re focused on building a best-in-class experimentation platform that enables customers to run impactful, data-driven experiments with ease and confidence, and we’re actively growing the team to deliver on this vision. We are committed to delivering a leading experimentation platform that empowers our customers to run tests and data-driven experiments seamlessly and at scale. We have a robust product roadmap, and we are actively expanding our teams to execute on it. Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and performant solutions for experimentation and data-driven products, with attention to usability and maintainability. Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions that impact system scalability and performance. Lead limited scope features from definition to deployment Help identify and troubleshoot performance issues and participate in efforts to optimize service reliability. Work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to implement new features and iterate on existing functionality. Participate in code reviews to support code quality and share constructive feedback with teammates. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that enhances the reusability and readability of team systems. Contribute to the team’s efforts to improve observability, monitoring, and operational excellence. Help investigate and resolve production issues, occasionally partnering with customer support or other teams as needed. Collaborate across functions to align on priorities, surface blockers, and improve team workflows. Learn from and support more senior engineers, and contribute to a culture of growth, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends related to software development, experimentation, and backend technologies. Demonstrate curiosity, creative thinking, and a proactive mindset in problem-solving. Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications. Familiarity with Typescript, React, Node, and Go is preferred but not required. Solid grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices. Exposure to building or maintaining scalable, production-grade systems. Familiarity with observability practices and tools (e.g., logging, metrics, monitoring). Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. Comfortable working in Agile development environments. Experience with CI/CD practices and tools. Passion for writing high-quality code and continuously improving engineering practices. A self-motivated approach and willingness to take initiative. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Prior experience working with or contributing to distributed teams is a plus.
