Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.</li>\n<li>Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.</li>\n<li>Advise Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.</li>\n<li>Inform dispatcher when the job is started, finished, or interrupted. Be particularly attentive to repair orders on vehicles marked “RUSH” or “CUSTOMER WAITING”.</li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Complete and maintain documentation of work performed.</span></li>\n<li>Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.</li>\n<li>Supervise the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned to you by management.</li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Attend factory-sponsored training classes. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.</span></li>\n<li>Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean.</li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Keep the shop area neat, clean, and free of safety hazards.</span></li>\n<li>Comply with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations, such as those governing the disposal of <span>hazardous wastes</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Assist in creating quotes for additional work required.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Keep up to date on online training as required</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a</span><span> Manager/Supervisor.</span></li>\n<li>This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Must be a fully licensed Technician.</span></li>\n<li>Working knowledge of automotive equipment</li>\n<li><span>Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in order to maintain optimal customer satisfaction.</span></li>\n<li>A highly self-motivated and organized individual.</li>\n<li>Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with other members of the Service Department team.</li>\n<li>Must be committed to consistently delivering high-quality work.</li>\n<li>Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.</li>\n<li>A valid Canadian driver’s license, and the ability to provide drivers abstract for review. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span>Internal Candidates MUST apply by filling out the </span><a href=\"https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=D9wfcnATDES3QMF6rSx8QDXvM4_u4pxFnyzYTSuIsPdUOFhIVFlJSk1ZQ1JQTDIxTkpMOVZQOTI5Ri4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Internal Endorsement Form </a><span>on SharePoint.
