We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Basic Qualifications &amp; Background</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>The person in this position will serve as the lead of the Data Center Operations, which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration and support of domain system servers, SAN, backup systems, identity management, security of the datacenter. The duties include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all servers and applications. The duties will include assessment of customer needs and implementation of improved configurations for customer needs.<br></span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Specialized experience requirements include 7 years of progressive experience in serving as a system administrator.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience leading a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with VMware vSphere platform.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Extensive experience in both application development/sustainment as well as operational support for large, highly scalable applications.<br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Certifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology or related field OR 2‑year technical diploma OR 2+ years of directly relevant hands‑on IT support experience. Bachelor’s preferred, not required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">IAT Level I (A+ CE or Network+ CE) — required. IAT Level II (Security+, CySA+, or SSCP) — preferred for shift leads/escalation or when privileged admin access is assigned.
