          "text": "<p>We are seeking a Software Engineer&#xa0;to join our Technology organization, supporting the HEDIS and quality measurement ecosystem. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building data-centric solutions&#xa0;in a regulated environment and turning complex healthcare data into reliable, consumable assets.</p><p>In this role, you will design and develop software that supports the ingestion, transformation, and movement of HEDIS-related data across systems. You’ll partner closely with clinical, quality, and analytics teams to ensure data pipelines are accurate, auditable, and fit for downstream measurement and reporting.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain data-focused software solutions&#xa0;supporting HEDIS and quality initiatives</li><li>Build and support data integrations and pipelines&#xa0;using APIs, automation, and event-driven patterns</li><li>Transform and model data with a data-as-a-product mindset, ensuring quality, traceability, and usability</li><li>Collaborate with Technology and business partners to translate quality requirements into scalable technical solutions</li><li>Ensure solutions meet Wellmark engineering, security, and compliance standards</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in software and data engineering&#xa0;(APIs, integrations, ETL/ELT patterns)</li><li>Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar)</li><li>Familiarity with working in regulated or data-intensive environments</li><li>A collaborative approach and the ability to build solutions that balance technical rigor with business needs</li></ul><p>You will contribute to the design and delivery of efficient, maintainable, and secure software solutions&#xa0;that support Wellmark’s HEDIS data workflows and Technology strategy.</p>",

          "text": "<p><em><u>Required&#xa0;</u></em></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study and at least 1 year of software development experience (ex. Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, SQL) OR 5+ years of related and applicable experience.</li><li>Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail. Previous experience troubleshooting and developing creative technical solutions.</li><li>Strong ability to gather information, perform necessary research needed for root cause analysis, problem definition and formulation, recommend solution implementation, verification, and ongoing optimization, using data to support recommendations.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build relationships to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties. Ability to communicate key information in a timely manner to the appropriate stakeholder audience with the ability to adjust communication style that will best suit the audience.</li><li>Ability to communicate with and coach/mentor team members, while setting an example in maintaining a positive attitude, staying calm under pressure, being approachable, and respectful and taking responsibility when needed.</li><li>Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Excellent organizational skills. Strong time management skills with the ability to set and meet established timeframes with little direction, while assuring data and information integrity.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and stay current on industry trends and have a continuous learning mindset.</li><li>Ability to collaborate and work as a team to accomplish goals and/or solve problems. Ability to learn by actively listening and applying coaching feedback.</li><li>Ability to support and work within a diverse development team model including global staffing, crowd sourcing, etc.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><em><u>Preferred</u></em></p><ul><li>Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.</li><li>Experience partnering with global staffing vendors to deliver value.</li><li>Hands-on experience designing and building ETL pipelines and data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC and PowerCenter or other similar tools.</li><li>Solid understanding of SQL and data processing across diverse data sources.</li><li>Preferred experience with healthcare data, analytics, or HEDIS reporting.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS preferred and modern data engineering and automation practices.</li><li>Practical experience working with AWS S3 and cloud-based data workflows.</li><li>Experience working with APIs to fetch, integrate, and process data from external and internal systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing and documentation best practices.</li><li>Experience using GitHub for source control and collaborative development.</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
