The CLS I performs all essential functions such as laboratory safety, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), specimen processing and troubleshooting maintaining productivity and quality assigned metrics, and providing effective communication with laboratory management and team.</p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities/Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing&nbsp;sample&nbsp;prep,&nbsp;DNA&nbsp;extraction&nbsp;and&nbsp;PCR.</li><li>Running&nbsp;KingFisher&nbsp;Flex,&nbsp;Accufill,&nbsp;VeritiPro,&nbsp;QuantStudio&nbsp;12K&nbsp;and&nbsp;5.</li><li>Performing&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;manual&nbsp;and&nbsp;electronic&nbsp;pipetting&nbsp;of&nbsp;small&nbsp;sample&nbsp;volumes.</li><li>Adhere&nbsp;to&nbsp;laboratory&rsquo;s&nbsp;quality&nbsp;control&nbsp;policies,&nbsp;quality&nbsp;control&nbsp;activities&nbsp;and&nbsp;SOP&rsquo;s.</li><li>Review&nbsp;all&nbsp;SOP&rsquo;s&nbsp;and&nbsp;workflow&nbsp;updates&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;timely&nbsp;manner&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;all&nbsp;SOP&nbsp;updates&nbsp;are implemented in real time for workflow processes.</li><li>Perform&nbsp;preventive&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;checks&nbsp;and&nbsp;decontamination&nbsp;of&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;and&nbsp;workspaces.</li><li>Follow the laboratory&rsquo;s established polices and procedures for notifying appropriate supervisors&nbsp;when&nbsp;test&nbsp;systems&nbsp;are&nbsp;not&nbsp;within&nbsp;the&nbsp;laboratory&rsquo;s&nbsp;established&nbsp;acceptable&nbsp;levels&nbsp;of performance.</li><li>Facilitate&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;individual&nbsp;work&nbsp;output&nbsp;is&nbsp;completed&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;current company metrics.</li><li>Identify&nbsp;problems&nbsp;that&nbsp;may&nbsp;adversely&nbsp;affect&nbsp;testing&nbsp;performance&nbsp;or&nbsp;reporting&nbsp;of&nbsp;test&nbsp;results by immediately notifying the General Supervisor and/or Technical Supervisor.</li><li>Participate&nbsp;in&nbsp;processing&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;testing&nbsp;samples,&nbsp;as&nbsp;applicable.</li><li>Successfully&nbsp;complete&nbsp;all&nbsp;CEU&nbsp;credits&nbsp;as&nbsp;required&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;company.</li><li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;staying&nbsp;informed&nbsp;of&nbsp;all&nbsp;incident&nbsp;reports&nbsp;and&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;related&nbsp;issues&nbsp;by attending all team meetings.</li><li>Ability to perform basic accession in pre-analytical operations: requirements for Patient Identifiers (PID), auditing and communicating client manifest issues, identifying specimens categorized as non-compliant, acceptance/rejection of patient specimens, and creating cases for exceptions and sent out orders.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%; text-align: left;\"><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:2.5pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;line-height:11.2pt;' id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>Education &ndash;<ol style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Clinical&nbsp;testing&nbsp;personnel&nbsp;must&nbsp;possess&nbsp;a&nbsp;current&nbsp;license&nbsp;issued&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;state&nbsp;in&nbsp;which the laboratory is located, if such licensing is required;
