Benefits may vary based on state law.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties, maintains desired standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance, leads cleaning activities in assigned areas, participates in staff development and training within the department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is per diem, hours and schedule may vary based on needs. The pay range for this position is $17.13/hour - $22.27/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned.</li>\n <li>Practices universal precautions and dispose of infectious waste according to approved standards.</li>\n <li>Disposes of trash, washes and relines trash container.</li>\n <li>Disinfects and cleans sinks and plumbing fixtures.</li>\n <li>Replaces paper and hand hygiene products.</li>\n <li>Checks supplies daily and replaces as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of EVS experience</li>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED</li>\n</ul>",
